Resident Clubs

Marley Park’s clubs and groups provide a unique opportunity for residents to actively engage and connect. From professional, recreational, social, service, cultural, and athletic activities, Marley Park’s clubs help residents pursue common interests. The Marley Park Community Association invites residents to start new clubs that continue to make life in Marley Park enjoyable and rewarding.

Do you have an interest you would like to share with the community? Check out these clubs already formed by Marley Park Residents:

The Marley Park Aces Up Poker Club

Designed to give residents who enjoy the game of poker an opportunity to gather and to meet other residents in a social environment
while playing poker. The club game is Texas Hold’em but other varieties of poker can be played depending on Club interest. If you don’t
know how to play, come join us and we can teach you how to play this enjoyable, leisure-time game.

Marley Park Garden Club

Gardeners are wonderful at sharing. In fact, they will share just about anything
from a start of their favorite plant to growing tips. They will gladly let you know where they found a great buy, or they will share a few tips on
insects or disease. Marley Park Garden Club members not only maintain their own individual gardens, they also maintain a small community garden
located on the west end of Arbor Park.

Adventures Kids Club

This group is geared toward the 7-12 yr old crowd that is ready for more
independent decision making and input into their own club… who knows maybe even their own handshake.

West Valley Arts Council

The West Valley Arts Council (WVAC) is expanding its reach and presence in the Northwest Valley through a partnership with the Marley Park community. The partnership allows the Council to provide a variety of arts programming, including exhibits, performances, arts education, and public art programs throughout the Southwest and Northwest Valley.

Marley Park residents will enjoy Arts Camp, Concerts on the Lawn featuring Margo Reed, Sherry Roberson and many others, the Council’s popular Taste of the Arts event and an Art Exhibit. Events will be held throughout the community and will be open to Marley Park residents as well as the outside community.

Getting involved

Volunteerism is a vital aspect of life in Marley Park. Volunteers contribute their time, effort, and talent in service to Marley Park and the surrounding community of Surprise. They give of themselves to enrich the neighborhood and invest in the lives of others.

Within Marley Park, they lead clubs, assist at community events, contribute to Neighborhood News, are active participants in events and in our online community, marleypark.net, giving of their time to make the community stronger.

Outside our walls, our volunteers contribute their time at local soup kitchens and food banks, host charitable clothing drives, volunteer at Marley Park Elementary School, and organize charitable activities and fundraisers for various Northwest Valley charities.

Congratulations to Shannon Adcock and Carrie Gauntt, Marley Park Volunteers of the Year 2009. Thank you for your service to others and making our community a better place to live.
