Marley
Park Elementary School
At the heart of community
Learning is fundamental to community, which is why Marley Park Elementary School, a Dysart Unified School District K-8 grade school, is at the heart of Marley Park.
Located adjacent to Heritage Park and within walking distance from most homes, the school offers students and teachers easy access to adjacent baseball and soccer fields, an open-air amphitheater and an interconnecting path and trail system.
Marley Park Elementary School offers students a vibrant, uplifting and enriching learning environment, and recently earned recognition as a “highly performing” school based on Arizona AIMS tests and other factors.
Character Counts! at Marley Park
Marley Park embraces and champions character education in our schools and within our community, and supports parents in their efforts to model good character for the children of Marley Park. We are proud that Marley Park Elementary School has enthusiastically adopted Character Counts! as its character education program.
Widely implemented in schools, youth groups and communities nationwide, Character Counts! teaches the Six Pillars of Character: trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship through a nonpartisan, nonsectarian framework.
At Marley Park Elementary School, students and staff reinforce the importance of character education through myriad program elements, a few of which include:
- weekly assemblies dedicated to honoring students who have demonstrated one or more of the Six Pillars of Character
- daily student council announcements providing fellow students tips on being kids of character
- Character Counts! contests, artwork, t-shirts, wristbands, and more!
